{"id":4457,"date":"2025-10-07T22:19:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T20:19:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionluz.cl\/?p=4457"},"modified":"2026-05-26T12:22:05","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T16:22:05","slug":"personas-con-discapacidad-visual-en-chile","status":"publish","type":"area","link":"https:\/\/fundacionluz.cl\/en\/area\/personas-con-discapacidad-visual-en-chile\/","title":{"rendered":"Personas con discapacidad visual en Chile seg\u00fan EBS 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"4457\" class=\"elementor elementor-4457\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1269d91d e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"1269d91d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4df575fe elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4df575fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"392\">Seg\u00fan la Encuesta de Bienestar Social 2021, <strong data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"322\">el 28,8% de la poblaci\u00f3n adulta<\/strong> presenta alg\u00fan grado de dificultad para ver, incluso usando lentes.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"421\"><strong>Perfil general<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"698\">\n<li data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"465\">\n<p data-start=\"424\" data-end=\"465\"><strong data-start=\"424\" data-end=\"443\">74% son mujeres<\/strong>, y <strong data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"462\">26% hombres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"524\">\n<p data-start=\"468\" data-end=\"524\">Mayor presencia en edades <strong data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"521\">sobre los 50 a\u00f1os (74%)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"698\">\n<p data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"698\"><strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"556\">82% vive en zonas urbanas<\/strong>, con mayor concentraci\u00f3n en regiones del <strong data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"615\">Biob\u00edo (7,3%)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"638\">La Araucan\u00eda (9%)<\/strong>, y <strong data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"658\">\u00d1uble (8,4%).<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"719\"><strong>Educaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"1041\">\n<li data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"800\">\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"800\"><strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"729\">62%<\/strong> tiene un nivel educativo <strong data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"797\">inferior a la ense\u00f1anza media completa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"1041\">\n<p data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"1041\"><strong data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"810\">65%<\/strong> declara que le ser\u00eda <strong data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"876\">poco o nada posible continuar estudiando<\/strong>, principalmente por <strong data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"935\">falta de recursos econ\u00f3micos (87%)<\/strong>, aunque m\u00e1s de la mitad s\u00ed cuenta con tiempo y salud para hacerlo.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1072\"><strong>Situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1416\">\n<li data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1151\">\n<p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1151\"><strong data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1111\">14% vive en situaci\u00f3n de pobreza<\/strong> (5% pobreza extrema y 9% no extrema).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1152\" data-end=\"1224\">\n<p data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1224\"><strong data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1163\">53,7%<\/strong> declara que su ingreso <strong data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1205\">no les alcanz\u00f3<\/strong> el mes anterior.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1305\">\n<p data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1305\"><strong data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1234\">28%<\/strong> no pudo pagar alimentos, y <strong data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1269\">20%<\/strong> no pudo cubrir servicios b\u00e1sicos.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1416\">\n<p data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1416\"><strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1315\">24%<\/strong> vio <strong data-start=\"1320\" data-end=\"1350\">aumentar su nivel de deuda<\/strong> en los \u00faltimos seis meses<button class=\"ms-1 flex h-[25px] text-[10px] leading-[13px] rounded-xl items-center justify-center gap-1 px-2 relative text-token-text-secondary! hover:text-token-text-primary! hover:bg-token-bg-secondary dark:bg-token-main-surface-secondary dark:hover:bg-token-bg-secondary bg-[#f4f4f4] \"><\/button><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1450\"><strong>Empleo y oportunidades<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1701\">\n<li data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1515\">\n<p data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1515\">Solo <strong data-start=\"1458\" data-end=\"1480\">36,2% est\u00e1 ocupado<\/strong>, mientras <strong data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1512\">58,8% es inactivo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1516\" data-end=\"1595\">\n<p data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1595\"><strong data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1525\">67%<\/strong> considera poco o nada probable <strong data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1578\">encontrar trabajo<\/strong> en tres meses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1701\">\n<p data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1701\"><strong data-start=\"1598\" data-end=\"1605\">62%<\/strong> no conoce a nadie que pueda ayudarle a conseguir empleo<button class=\"ms-1 flex h-[25px] text-[10px] leading-[13px] rounded-xl items-center justify-center gap-1 px-2 relative text-token-text-secondary! hover:text-token-text-primary! hover:bg-token-bg-secondary dark:bg-token-main-surface-secondary dark:hover:bg-token-bg-secondary bg-[#f4f4f4] \"><\/button><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>En resumen<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Las personas con discapacidad visual en Chile enfrentan una triple barrera: <strong data-start=\"1805\" data-end=\"1839\">econ\u00f3mica, educativa y laboral<\/strong>, con un alto nivel de exclusi\u00f3n y escaso acceso a redes de apoyo.
