Marcela Paz\u2014<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">un grupo de j\u00f3venes amigas fund\u00f3 la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sociedad Protectora de Ciegos Santa Luc\u00eda<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doce a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s se abri\u00f3 el <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hogar de Ciegos Santa Luc\u00eda<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en San Miguel, que hacia fines de los a\u00f1os 40 se convirti\u00f3 en el <\/span>primer colegio para personas con discapacidad visual en Am\u00e9rica Latina<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Su repertorio incluye jazz, tango, bossa nova, m\u00fasica folcl\u00f3rica y popular, e incluye presentaciones en importantes escenarios.<\/p><p>Cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s se abre un nuevo colegio en La Cisterna, dise\u00f1ado con altos est\u00e1ndares de calidad e innovaci\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica.
